No. Open Kastoro in your browser and start using it. Your first 3 documents are free, with no card and no trial clock.
How do I cancel Pro?
Open Manage plan in the app. It takes you to Stripe's customer portal, where you can cancel. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and Pro stays active until the end of the year you already paid for.
What happens to my documents when Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted and nothing is locked. Everything you wrote stays readable, editable and exportable, and your existing documents stay intact. You just can't create new ones past the free limit of 3.
Why isn't AI included in Pro?
Because it costs us money every time it runs. Your notes live on your device, but a question to the page, a voice conversation or a generated quiz runs on a model we pay for per use. Keeping AI separate lets Pro stay at $11.99 a year for anyone who only wants the notebook. Kastoro AI is $3.99 a month, renews monthly and can be cancelled the same way. It has fair-use limits, so it isn't unlimited.
Does Pro work on iPad?
The iPad app is coming very soon. Pro bought on the web works there too when you sign in with the same account. In the app you can also subscribe through the App Store for $11.99 a year in the US or R$49.90 a year in Brazil (Apple shows the local price in other regions before you buy), billed by Apple and managed in your App Store subscription settings. For now, an App Store subscription unlocks Pro only in the iPad app, not on the web. Kastoro AI is bought on the web and works on every device signed in to your account.
Who charges me, and where?
On the web, payments are processed by Stripe. The offer is set at checkout by the country you're connecting from, not by the site's language: in Brazil, a one-time Pix payment in reais; elsewhere, a card subscription, with regional currencies for AI shown before payment. In the iPad app, the App Store subscription is billed by Apple.
Can I get my documents out?
Always, and without losing anything. Export a single page or your entire library, in a format other apps can open. Being able to leave was a requirement from day one.
